LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall's women's squash team gets ready to begin its 2025-26 season this weekend, starting with a home match against No. 21 Denison on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Head coach
Gavin Jones enters his 15th season leading the Diplomats' squash programs, following a season where the women's team won seven matches and were ranked as high as No. 21 in the national rankings.
Preseason RankingsÂ
The College Squash Association (CSA) rankings have the Diplomats ranked 27th in the preseason rankings. Rankings will be available throughout the season and can beÂ

2025-26 DiplomatsÂ
The Diplomats' roster consists of five members who played in at least 10 matches last season. F&M looks to fill vacancies in the top-two spots entering this season and hopes for its younger players to elevate into those key roles. Franklin & Marshall's current roster consists of one senior, three juniors, three sophomores, and two first-year athletes.

Mia Todd ended last season with four wins while competing primarily out of the No. 3 slot. Todd played 20 matches in the No. 3 position and will look to move up on the ladder during matchday. The junior notched two big wins against No. 27 Haverford during the final stretch of the 2024-25 season.
Ashanti Amastal concluded last winter with six wins with all of her matches in the No. 4 slot. Amastal ended her rookie campaign winning four of her last five matches, including victories over No. 24 St. Lawrence and No. 26 Chatham.
Rory Dasher also tallied six wins last season as she competed in the No. 6 slot last season. Dasher earned her first-career victory against No. 25 Chatham with a sweep over the Cougars last November. The sophomore then ended the year winning three of her last four matches.
The Road Ahead
The Diplomats kick off the 2025-26 season hosting seven home matches in the month of November with contests against Denison (Nov. 9), Drexel (Nov. 14), Penn (Nov. 15), Chatham (Nov. 15), Haverford (Nov. 16), Bates (Nov. 22), and Bowdoin (Nov. 23). F&M then begins the new year on the road as they take on Williams (Jan. 9), Middlebury (Jan. 10), Amherst (Jan. 11), St. Lawrence (Jan. 17), and William Smith (Jan. 18).
F&M begins competition in the CSA Individual Championships on January 23 with the tournament concluding on January 27. The Diplomats return to duals on the road facing Navy (Feb. 4), Haverford (Feb. 7), and Dickinson (Feb. 7). Franklin & Marshall competes in the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships (Feb. 13 to Feb. 15), before returning to the Mayser Center to host Hamilton (Feb. 22).
F&M concludes the season in Philadelphia, Pa. competing in the CSA Team Championships, which run from February 27 to March 1.
