MILLERSVILLE, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall men's swimming team (3-3, 2-2 Centennial Conference) earned a 149-113 non-conference victory over Division II Kutztown (1-4, 1-2 PSAC) at the neutral site of Millersville on Saturday afternoon. The day featured eight event wins and 22 top-three results.

Sam Kamdin, Patrick Rooney, Riley Williams, and Ben Lockey opened the meet with a 200 medley relay victory, while Nick Lowell, Luke Healey, Ethan Ferris and Brady Saunders followed in second place. In the final race of the meet, Kamdin, Saunders, Williams, Lockey won the 200 freestyle relay.

Individual two Diplomats earned a pair of event victories, as Lowell won the 100 and 200 backstroke and Rooney earned the victory in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. Other Diplomats featured in those events, as Joe Clarkson and Williams completed a sweep of the top-three spots in the 100 backstroke. Rooney also found success in the 400 IM, earning third place. 

Ethan Ferris won the 100 butterfly, followed by Williams in second. Ferris also earned silver in the 200 butterfly.

Kamdin's lone individual event win came in the 100 freestyle, with Lockey claiming third place. Lockey was F&M's best finisher in the 50 freestyle, earning second place followed by Saunders in third. Connor Marshall was third in the 200 freestyle.

In distance freestyle, Matthew Tilghman and Edward Vonne claimed silver and bronze in the 1000 freestyle, respectively, while Tilghman also finished in third place in the 500 freestyle. 

The Diplomats return to competitive for the Franklin & Marshall Invitational from Friday, November 21, through Sunday, November 23.
