LANCASTER, Pa. – Serving as the hosts of the 2025 Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships, the Franklin & Marshall women scored 8.5 points on Saturday to start the two-day event inside the Alumni Sports & Fitness Center. The first day of the championship was highlighted by Lauren Dunnigan once again breaking her own two school records in the 60 meter dash and hurdles where she will have the potential to add big points to the Diplomats' score on Sunday during those event finals.
Franklin & Marshall's highest scoring event on Saturday came from a third-place team finish in the 4x800 meter relay where the team of Jordyn Collie, Emily Jones, Katie Scott, and Annalise Kauffman finished in a time of 9:39.69. That time was the third-fastest in school history. F&M added another point in the 4x200 relay when Hayden Adams, Arek Giir, Mackenzie Ward, and Bella Johnson took eighth place with a time of 1:56.48.
Adams was also an individual scorer for the Diplomats on Saturday when she took seventh in the pole vault by clearing a personal-best 3.17 meters to move up to second in school history for that event. Tara Silverman additionally turned in a top 10 finish in the 5,000 meters with her personal best time of 18:53.11. Amanda Imhauser finished in 11th in the pentathlon, with her best event being the long jump where she took third among her multi-event peers.
Dunnigan set herself up nicely for the finals as she was the top qualifier to the finals in the 60 meter dash with a school record time of 7.82 seconds. She was the second-fastest qualifier in the 60 meter hurdles with her second school record of the day in 8.95 seconds. Both of those event finals will be contest on Sunday.
The 2025 Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships continue on Sunday with the first events slated for an 11 a.m. start.
