ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Making her debut at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships, Lauren Dunnigan placed seventh in her heat and 20th overall in the 60 meter hurdles on Friday afternoon.
Dunnigan, a sophomore who entered the national championship as the Centennial Conference Outstanding Performer of the Meet, finished in a time of 11.38. A multiple time re-writer of her own school record, she wrapped up her indoor season as a two-time Centennial Conference Champion and an all-region selection in both the 60 meter dash and 60 meter hurdles.
This meet was the final event of the indoor track & field season for the Diplomats as the rest of Dunnigan's teammates are now competing in South Carolina at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge. A full recap of that two-day meet will be available when results are posted online.
