WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The (RV) Franklin & Marshall men's golf team concluded Monday's final round of the Northeast Elite Tournament, hosted at Williamsport Country Club, with a team score of 31-over par to place seventh out of 16 teams competing. After shooting 21-over par on Sunday, the Diplomats carded a 10-over par team score in the closing round. Rochester won the tournament, leading the field with an overall team score of nine-over par.
Oliver Clark led the Diplomats with five birdies and nine pars to shoot one-under par for the day, placing tied for 13th with an overall score of four-over par.
Max Silverman tallied two birdies and 12 pars to end the round with a three-over par score. Silverman brought his tournament score to eight-over par, placing himself in a tie for 24th out of 90 golfers.
Sebastian Botero and
Wayne He both recorded a score of four-over par on Monday. Botero ended the tournament seven-over par to tie for 20th, while He wrapped up the weekend 12-over par to finish in a tie for 45th.
Pablo Rodriguez rounded out the Diplomats with a seven-over par in the final round to move his overall score to 16-over par, placing himself in a tie for 68th place.
(RV) Franklin & Marshall now sets its sights on the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic, a two-day tournament held at Sinking Valley Country Club. The first round of the tournament tees off on Sunday.
