LEWISBURG, Pa. – Amanda Imhauser broke the Franklin & Marshall women's track & field school record in the pentathlon with 2,765 points at the Bucknell Invitational and Multi-Meet on Friday afternoon. Imhauser set three personal bests across the five events to eclipse the school record for cumulative score.
Imhauser set new personal bests in the 60 meter hurdles (10.13), 800 meters (2:37.61), and shot put (9.92 meters), while also contesting the high (1.35m) and long jump (4.75m) events. Her highest scoring event was the 60 meter hurdles while her best individual finish came in the shot put where she was third among the pentathletes.
The full men's and women's indoor track & field teams will return to action for the Diplomats next week when they compete at the Mini Dip Invitational that is slated for Saturday, February 7. That will be the final home meet of the regular season before Franklin & Marshall hosts the Centennial Conference Championships at the end of the month.
