LANCASTER, Pa.- 16 Franklin & Marshall field hockey players were named to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squad for Division III.
Sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, the NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
The NFHCA recognized more than 1,800 outstanding undergraduate student-athletes from 147 institutions named to the 2025 Division III National Academic Squad.
Kat Thistlewaite became the 32nd Diplomat to be named a member of the NFHCA Academic Squad four times.
Isabelle Allen,
Brianna Coolican, Megan Dole,
Caitlin Hoover,
Caroline Krisko, and
Ally Walk earned their third selection, while
Megan Dadio,
Bella Konchar, and
Aoife Nerz are now two-time Academic Squad members. Six Diplomats earned their first selection including
Sara Davis,
Hannah Fitzgerald,
Meghan Fly,
Brynn Harrison,
Maya Rorick, and
Maddie Takahashi.
The No. 14 Franklin & Marshall field hockey team (15-4, 8-2 Centennial Conference) wrapped up the 2025 season with an appearance in the Centennial Conference Tournament Semifinals for the fourth consecutive season and team's best overall winning percentage (.789) since the 2019 season. Among Centennial Conference teams, F&M ranked first in scoring average (3.28) and scoring margin (2.07), slotting in the top 25 in both categories nationally. The Diplomats spent ten consecutive weeks ranked in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III national Coaches Poll, ending at No. 14 with a season-best rank of No. 13.
