ITHACA, N.Y. – Lauren Dunnigan reset two of her own school records as the Franklin & Marshall women's track & field team travel to Cornell University for the Marc Denault Invitational on Saturday. Dunnigan's school record times came in the 60 meter and 200 meter dashes in what was the team's final preparations for the Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Dunnigan broke her previous record in the 60 meter dash by four-hundredths of a second as she won that event with a time of 7.67 seconds. Dunnigan moved up to 19th in the country with her latest PR and is currently the second-ranked individual in the Centennial Conference this season. Dunnigan eclipsed her 200 meter school record by 19-hundredths of a second with a time of 26.01. Dunnigan capped her day with a 10th place finish in the 60 meter hurdles (9.10 seconds).
Other notable performances on the track included Avery Canady (1:04.31) and Arek Giir (1:06.50) both achieving conference marks in the 400 meters. Amanda Imhauser prepped for the upcoming pentathlon by competing in the 60 meter hurdles (10.20), long jump (4.85m), and shot put (8.95m).
In the field events, Hayden Adams cleared 1.52 meters to place eighth in the high jump before finishing 11th in the pole vault (3.07m). Max McCoy posted top 20 individual finishes in both the shot put (11.30m) and weight throw (12.58m).
The 2026 Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships will return to Franklin & Marshall this week. Action inside the Alumni Sports & Fitness Center gets started on Saturday and will continue through Sunday.
