CARLISLE, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team closed competition in the Dickinson Spring Invitational at Carlisle Country Club on Monday. The F&M "A" team shot an overall team-score of 588 (16-over par) to tie the Dickinson "B" team for second in the field of 16 teams. The Diplomats' "B" team carded a team-score of 611 (39-over par) for the tournament to place in seventh. The Dickinson "A" came away with the team win, recording an overall score of 581 (nine-over par) in the two-day event.
Wayne He led all Franklin & Marshall golfers as he carded a 75 on Monday to bring his overall score to 144, placing third in the field of 86 competitors.
Max Silverman followed with a tournament score of 146 to finish in a tie for sixth.
Jake Kurtzman notched a 77 in the closing round to conclude the invitational with a score of 147 to tie for 10th.
Oliver Clark shot a 151 for the tournament to tie for 17th, while
Winston Thai carded a 152 to finish in a tie for 21st.
Aaron Liu finished the second round with a 76 to lead the F&M "B" team, ending the two-day tournament with a 151 overall-score to tie for 17th.
David McNamara tallied a 152 to tie for 21st, while
Riley Norton closely trailed with a 153 to tie for 24th.
Sebastian Botero finished his day with an overall-score of 156 to tie for 38th in the standings.
Harrison Brown closed the round for the Diplomats, firing a 160 for the tournament to place in a tie for 47th.
Franklin & Marshall now gears up for the Swarthmore Invitational at White Manor Country Club, starting on Sunday.
