MALVERN, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team concluded competition in the Swarthmore Invitational with the final two rounds being held at White Manor Country Club on Monday. The Diplomats ended the tournament with an overall score of 32-over par to finish second in the field of 16 teams. Dickinson ended the day on top of the team standings, carding a 20-over par in the tournament to take home first place.

David McNamara led the Diplomats on day two as both golfers carded an eight-over par for the tournament to tie each other for fourth place out of 83 competitors. He had the best day out of all five F&M golfers, firing one-over par in round two and even-par in round three to work his way into the top-five. McNamara tallied a seven-over par, followed by a three-over par to secure his top placement of the year so far.
Max Silverman registered a seven-over par in the second round, before closing the day with a one-over par in round three. Silverman ended the weekend with an overall score of 11-over par to tie for 13th.
Oliver Clark fired a two-over par, followed by an eight-over par to shoot a 12-over par for the tournament as he tied for 17th.
Jake Kurtzman rounded out the Diplomats with a four-over par in round two and a 12-over par in round three to tie for 39th with a tournament score of 19-over par.
Franklin & Marshall now heads to Williamsburg, Virginia on Monday, April 13 to compete in the Sam Snead Collegiate Tournament.
