Two Titles for Women's Track & Field at Millersville

4/18/2026 11:49:00 PM

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Annalise Kauffman and Hayden Adams both won individual titles to help the Franklin & Marshall women's track & field team to a fourth-place team finish at the Millersville Metrics Meet on Saturday. The Diplomats scored 67.5 points between 14 scoring performances on the day. Overall, the Diplomats set five new top 10 records in school history just two weeks out from the conference championships.

Kauffman's winning time of 4:45.83 in the 1,500 meters makes her the sixth-fastest individual for that event in school history. She was one of two F&M placers during that race as Georgia Hodgson took eighth with a time of 5:18.26. Adams cleared 1.52 meters in the high jump to win that event and move her up to sixth in the F&M rankings. Adams later cleared 2.80 meters in the pole vault to place fifth as a two-event scorer. Amanda Imhauser added to the strong jumping results as she took third in the long jump (4.87m).

The Diplomats' third top 10 mark in school history on the track came during a second-place finish in the 4x400 relay where the team of Lauren Dunnigan, Avery Canady, Kauffman, and Lillian Williams finished in a time of 4:05.28 to rank eighth in school history with a top 100 time in Division III this season. The Diplomats also ran another relay that took fifth in that same event. Dunnigan's individual success saw her place second in the 100 meter dash (12.72) and 100 meter hurdles (15.41). Williams was seventh in the 200 meters (27.16), with Canady right behind her (27.33).

Max McCoy posted a pair of top 10 marks in school history in the shot put (12.16m) and hammer throw (36.87m). McCoy placed third in the shot put as she recorded the fifth-best attempt in school history, with her best hammer marking seventh in program history. McCoy was also the team's best performer in the discus (31.19m) where she took sixth individually. F&M's best finish in the throws was a runner-up showing from Mackenzie Ward in the javelin (39.52m) as she recorded the 32nd-best throw in the country this year.

Rounding out the scoring results on the track were a number of seventh place showings from Emily Jones in the 400 meters (1:05.04), Abby Bachman in the 400 hurdles (1:19.40), and Jordyn Collie in the 800 meters (2:24.65), while Anna Atticks ran to a sixth-place finish in the steeplechase (13:05.67).

Women's track & field has just one week of competition remaining before the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Diplomats received some exciting news this week as Mackenzie Ward was accepted into the javelin at the historic Penn Relays, while the rest of the team will compete at Elizabethtown's Blue Jay Tune the week prior to the conference meet.
