Imhauser's Silver Highlights Strong Day Two for Women's Track & Field

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Amanda Imhauser capped off a strong heptathlon with a second place finish to highlight three scoring performances for Franklin & Marshall on day two of the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Diplomats also set themselves up nicely for Sunday with four qualifications to the event finals on the track. F&M enters the final day of the conference meet in sixth place with 24 points.

Imhauser finished the two-day multi-event with 3,923 points to improve her mark as the second-highest scoring individual in program history. Imhauser closed the event with a personal best time in the 800 meters (2:30.69) after clearing 1.38 meters in the high jump and having the second-best javelin amongst her peers (29.46m). Imhauser earns second-team All-Centennial Conference recognition in addition to her silver medal.

Hayden Adams scored in the field events for the second straight day. She cleared 1.47 meters in the high jump to place seventh in that event. The day closed with the 4x800 relay finishing in fourth place (9:48.92), achieving the seventh-fastest time in school history. That relay consisted of Abby Bachman, Emily Jones, Tara Silverman, and Jordyn Collie.

Lauren Dunnigan qualified to three event finals on Saturday, highlighted by tying the school record in the 100 meters with a time of a flat 15 seconds. That time ties the original school record of Rachel Wylie '20. Dunnigan will have a chance to break that record on Sunday during the finals. Dunnigan was additionally the fifth qualifier in the 100 meter dash (12.42) and sixth qualifier in the 200 meter dash (26.06).

Annalise Kauffman has officially returned to defend her conference title in the 800 meters after she was the fifth-fastest qualifier in the preliminary heats (2:15.36). That time was already faster than her conference-winning time a season ago and ties her for the fifth-fastest mark in school history. Jordyn Collie was 11th in the 800 meters with a personal best time of 2:21.11. Other top finishers in events on Saturday for the Diplomats included Lillian Williams (12th in 400 meters; 1:01.14), Anna Atticks (12th in steeplechase; 12:40.56), Max McCoy (12th in weight throw; 34.98m), and Maddy Schultz (14th in 400 meter hurdles; 1:15.66).

The Centennial Conference Track & Field Championships conclude on Sunday with 13 event finals on the schedule. Action gets started at 11 a.m. and continues through the awards ceremony just after 4 p.m.
