BALTIMORE - Johns Hopkins handed Franklin &
Marshall a 16-6 setback Saturday morning during the third game of
the 2008 Centennial Conference Championships. The Blue Jays (32-5)
posted eight runs in the third to blow open a 3-0 game.
Patrick
O'Reilly was responsible for half of F&M's (19-16) runs
with a three-run homer in the sixth inning. He finished the game
two-for-four. Mark Minutaglio
was also two-for-four with a pair of runs scored.
JHU piled up 16 runs on 14 hits. Brian Youchak went
four-for-five with three runs, three RBIs and his eighth home run
of the season.
The Diplomats face either Muhlenberg or Haverford at 4:00 p.m.
in an elimination game. Hopkins will wait for the winner of that
contest on Sunday..
