Diplomats Own Commanding Lead After 18 Holes

LEBANON, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's golfers occupy five of the top seven spots after 18 holes at the ECAC Division III Mid-Atlantic Championships. The Diplomats have a 24 stroke lead heading into Saturday's round.

Cameron Warner shot 37 on the way out and 37 on the way back in to card a 74 on the par 72 Lebanon Country Club Course. He holds a three stroke lead on Alvernia's Casey Osborne. Brendan Mohler shot 80, good enough for third place, while Jeremy Rubin and Danny Liebowitz each shot 81 to tie for fourth. That gave the Diplomats a team score of 316, with Alvernia in second at 340. Centenary is in third place with a 354.

F&M's Dave Gilbert shot 86. He sits seventh halfway through the championship.

The Diplomats will wrap up the ECAC Championship Tournament and fall season on Saturday.
