LEBANON, Pa. – Cameron Warner shot 78 on Saturday for a
36-hole total of 152. His effort was good enough to capture the
ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championship and pace Franklin & Marshall to
the team title. All five of F&M's golfers placed in the top six
spots in the 18-golfer field. Only second place finisher,
Alvernia's Casey Osborne, broke up the Diplomats' sweep of the
leaderboard.
Osborne shot 155 (77+78) over 36 holes on the par 72 Lebanon
Country Club course. He was four strokes ahead of Brendan Mohler
(80+79=159). Jeremy Rubin
(81+79=160) took fourth, while Danny Liebowitz
took fifth to round out the scoring contingent with a two-day total
of 632 (81+80=161). F&M held 32 strokes on Alvernia
(340+324=664). Centenary (N.J.) rounded out the scoring with a 693
(354+339=693).
Warner's victory is the second of his career. He has finished in
the top five in seven of the 26 tournaments he has played in his
career. The tournament victory was the third in as many events for
F&M. It also closes the fall season for the Diplomats.
