Saturday's Results
ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Paced by Cameron Warner's 74, Franklin
& Marshall's men's golf team is in sixth place out of the 15
teams halfway through competition at the 36-hole McDaniel College
Invitational.
Warner's 74 leaves him two strokes over par at The Bridges Golf
Club, and in a three-way tie for second place heading into Sunday's
competition. The 74 also marks his best round through eight played
in the 2009-2010 season. Warner is a single stroke off of
Susquehanna's Mitch Mercer, the tournament leader.
Susquehanna has the team lead on the field with a 310 on
Saturday, two strokes better than New York University and the
University of Rochester.
Warner is one of two Diplomats in the top 20 of the 78-golfer
field. Jeremy Rubin shot 79 to finish the day in a five-way tie for
19th place. The Diplomats turned in a 320 to head into Sunday ten
strokes off of the lead. Danny Liebowitz shot 83 and is tied for
42nd, while Brendan Mohler shot 84 and is in 47th. Kevin Goserud is
in 68th at the halfway point. He turned in an 88.
The Nevonian golfers return to action tomorrow morning for the
final round at The Bridges.
