HERSHEY, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall's men's golf team
finished in 11th place out of the 15 teams at the Mid-Atlantic
Regional Invitational. The 36-hole tournament hosted by the
University of Rochester was played out on Hershey Country Club's
East Course. Wesley College won the tournament, edging Susquehanna
and McDaniel by a single stroke.
Washington & Jefferson's Brad Cieslinski won the tournament
with a two-round total of 146, four strokes over par. F&M's
Danny Liebowitz was the Diplomats' top finisher 11 strokes and 24
places behind. 75 golfers competed in the tournament.
Andrew Woods improved seven shots on Sunday for a two-round
total of 159 to finish in a tie for 30th place. Cameron Warner tied
for 38th with a 161, while Brendan Mohler tied for 53rd with a 165.
Jeremy Rubin rounded out the F&M five with a 174 to finish in a
tie for 69th place.
The Diplomats return to action on Monday when F&M hosts the
Bent Creek Invitational.
