HERSHEY, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's golfers moved up to 16th place after 54 holes of competition at the 2010 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships. The Diplomats were locked in a three-way tie for 17th place after 36 holes.

Andrew Woods set the pace for F&M on Thursday. The senior birdied six holes, but gave back four on his way to a 70 on the par 72 Hershey Links. Woods, whose score suffered four penalty strokes when he found an extra club in his bag on Tuesday, jumped from 90th up into a nine-way tie for 53rd place.

Cameron Warner is the top Diplomat on the leaderboard. After shooting 74 this afternoon, he is tied for 33rd with Hope College's Chris Ansel. Brendan Mohler matched his Tuesday 76 on the Links, climbing three spots to 77th place. Jeremy Rubin shot an 81 on Thursday to fall down into a tie for 88th place, while Danny Liebowitz matched his Tuesday score of 78. He is tied for 102nd place.

Methodist, which surged to the top of the team leaderboard on Wednesday, owns a five stroke lead on Huntingdon College. Claremont Mudd Scripps' Tain Lee has a five-stroke lead on the field. He will look to make it a wire-to-wire win when the final 18 holes are played out on the Hershey Links tomorrow.
