ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Cameron Warner and Brendan Mohler both placed sixth to pace Franklin & Marshall to a fourth place finish at the McDaniel Invitational Sunday. The Diplomats finished the 14-team tournament with a 621, behind Elmira (617), Washington & Jefferson (614) and invite champions McDaniel (603).
Warner (152) shaved 12 strokes off his round one score of 82 with a 70 on the final day of competition. Mohler (152) also came in significantly under his round one score of 79 with a 73 on the par-72 course. Greg Bowman from McDaniel took the individual crown with one-over 145.
Kevin Goserud (158) finished 25th while Jeremy Rubin took 30th with a 159. Zach Bereznak rounded out the F&M five with 177.
The Diplomats wrap up the fall portion of their schedule next Monday at the Muhlenberg Fall Invitational.
