NAPLES, Fla. – Cameron Warner was one of three golfers that shot 81 at Calusa Pines when Franklin & Marshall and Webber International opened the spring golf slate. Warner and fellow Diplomat,
Kevin Goserud carded an 81 while Webber's Craig Hughes matched the score. Warner won the event on the match of cards.
All 13 participants competed as individuals. There was no team score.
Harry Russell shot 82 on the par 72, 6,645-yard circuit that serves as the home course for both Rocco Mediate and Paul Azinger. Russell's 82 tied him for fourth place. Brendan Mohler carded an 85 to tie for eighth place.
The Diplomats return to action next Weekend at the McDaniel Invitational.
