LANCASTER, Pa. - Kevin Goserud and Cameron Warner each posted top-five finishes to lift host Frankiln & Marshall to the team title at the F&M Invitational at Bent Creek Country Club on Monday. The Diplomats Blue squad compiled 305 points to edge out second-place Moravian (306) and win for the third time this fall. Albright and Messiah tied for third with team scores of 313, while the F&M White squad took fifth at 316.
Goserud secured fourth place with a round of two-over 73 to lead the way for F&M Blue, while Warner finished in a three-way tie for fifth with a score of 75. Robert Svigals (T-11th/77) and Danny Liebowitz (T-24th/80) capped off the top-four for F&M Blue.
Dave Gilbert put together a round of 77 to pace the F&M White team, while Harry Russell (T-13th/78) and Mike Levenson (T-20th/78) also delivered top-20 finishes. Henry Richards posted an 82 to round out the F&M White scoring.
The Diplomats return to action from Oct. 1-2 at the Ted Keller Memorial Tournament hosted by Randolph-Macon.
