Three batters later, Benenson touched home after a bases-loaded walk to Tyler Veterano, before Brandon Theriault registered a two-RBI double to the gap in left center to give F&M a 5-0 edge. Brian Erb tallied the final RBI of the frame with a sacrifice fly to center to complete the six-run first for the Diplomats.

F&M tacked on one score in the fourth and two in the sixth to take a commanding 9-0 advantage heading into the final three frames. In the eighth, Blue Wells sent a towering three-run homer over the left field fence to push the Diplomats out to a 12-0 advantage.
