F&M Second at Kravetz Invite

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Franklin & Marshall tied for second place in the Fred B. Kravetz Invitational at the University of Rochester Saturday. The Diplomats shot a two round total 637 (305-332) and was even with McDaniel. Nebraska Wesleyan won the event with a 631. Wind, rain and cold weather on Saturday caused the scores to skyrocket at Oak Hill Country Club.

Cameron Warner placed fourth signing for 156 in the field of 35. He shot 73 in the first round and 83 in the second. Nebraska Weseyn's Drew Taylor won the event with a 153. He edged Carnegie Mellon's Ian Bangor in a two-hole playoff.

Robert Svigals carded a 160 (79-81) to place 10th for the Diplomats. Kevin Goserud (162) finished 12th and Dave Gilbert (163) tied for 16th. Henry Richards rounded out the Diplomats five with a 170 (87-83).

The Diplomats return to the links Tuesday at the Messiah Invitational.
