Diplomats Tied First After 18 Holes

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's men's golf team is tied for first place with host Dickinson after 18 of 54 holes at the 2012 Centennial Conference Golf Championships.  The Diplomats turned in a 314, nine strokes ahead of defending champions McDaniel, at Blue Ridge Country Club. 

Cameron Warner and Robert Svigals both carded 76 and find themselves in a three-way tie for second, just one stroke shy of Dickinson' s Linn Worthington 75.  Danny Liebowitz represents the third lowest score for F&M at 80 strokes. Liebowitz is tied with three other golfers for 10th place in the 33-player field. 

Kevin Goserud carded 82 and Brendan Mohler finished at 85 for the Diplomats. 

Play will resume tomorrow at the par 72, 6,615-yard course with the final round slated for Sunday.
