Warner, Diplomats Lead Centennial Tournament

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's men's golf team leads the Centennial Conference (CC) Tournament with 36 of the 54 holes on the cards. Cameron Warner sits in first in the 33-player field at Blue Ridge Country Club. 

Warner shaved two strokes off his first round 76 to take a one-stroke lead (150) over Swarthmore's Paul Weston on the par 72, 6,615-yard course.  Danny Liebowitz took eight stokes off his day one 80 and moved up to fourth with (80-72) 152.

Robert Svigals carded 78 for a two round total of 154 and is in a three-way tie for sixth. Kevin Goserud matched his total from yesterday with 82 to tie for 17th with 164.  Brendan Mohler took six off yesterday's performance with a 79 and is part of the six-way tie at 17th with Goserud. 

The 54-hole tournament wraps up tomorrow. F&M will look to win its fifth CC Crown, fourth in the last  five years, and earn the automatic qualifier for the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament.
