Diplomats Miss Cut at NCAA Tournament

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – Franklin & Marshall shaved seven strokes over its first round 323 to finish with a 28-over 316 in the second round of the NCAA Men's Golf Championship Wednesday. The Diplomats shot a combined 639 over two rounds and missed the cut at the Mission Inn Resort & Club. Oglethrope retained its lead with a round two total of 292 (577).

Senior Cameron Warner took seven strokes off his first round 79 to finish at par 72 on the 6,985-yard Las Colinas Course. Warner put together a two round total of 151, which was seven over, just three strokes shy of the individual cut of 148. Wednesday's round was the third lowest for Warner this season. 

Olgethrope had the top two finishers with Nathan Rodeder coming in five under par and Anthony Maccaglia carding 142 (-2).

Robert Svigals took four shots off his first round total to finish at 77. Svigals finished the two rounds with a 14-over 158.

Kevin Goserud shot 83 to finish twenty over (164) while Danny Liebowitz and Brendan Mohler both finished the second with 84. Liebowitz tallied a two round total of 166 (+22) and Mohler finished with 167 (+23).

F&M finished the year with one of the most successful seasons on record. The Diplomats won seven tournament titles, including their fifth Centennial Conference crown.
