HARRISBURG – The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team won its second tournament of the year with a team victory at the Penn State – Harrisburg Invitational on Saturday. The Diplomats shot a two-round total of 590 (298-292) to narrowly defeat Albright (591) and Messiah (592) in the 15-team tournament.
Robert Svigals led the way for F&M with a 147 (75-72) and Jin Hwang turned in a two day total of 145 (72-73). Jeremy Rubin carded 150 (74-76) while Daniel Furman came in at 151 (81-83). Andrew Gladstone finished with an 81 on the day and shaved off eight strokes to finish with a 154.
F&M returns to action on Oct. 22 when the Diplomats travel to the Ursinus Invitational.
