ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Steve Altieri finished second to lead Franklin & Marshall to a second place finish at the Muhlenberg Invitational Monday at the Lehigh Country Club. Alteri carded 75, just three shy of Pete D'Angelo from Rutgers Camden.
F&M finished with a 313 with Rutgers-Camden grabbing the team title at 310 in the 17-team event.
Henry Richards turn in a 77 to and tied for seventh in the field of 85 players. Jared Brown completed the par-70, 6,415 yard course with a 79 (14th) and Kyle Huntzberry figured in the F&M team total at 82. Dave Gilbert rounded out the Diplomats five with an 85.
F&M returns to action Saturday at the two day McDaniel Invitational.
