ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall leads by seven strokes midway the Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic hosted by McDaniel Saturday afternoon at the Bridges Country Club. The Diplomats shot 307 and hold a seven-stroke edge over Stevenson (314) while York sits in third at 315 in the 15-team tournament.
Three Diplomats placed in the top-ten with Christopher Gabriele leading the way for F&M at a two-over 74. Al El Kordi-Hubbard from Stevenson leads the 75-player field with a three-under 69. Brad Lankler is tied for second at 74 and Stephen Colodny sits in seventh with a 77.
Daniel Furman figured into the F&M team score with an 82 on the par-72, 6,713-yard course while Henry Richards turned in an 83.
Play resumes tomorrow with the final 18 holes scheduled to start in the morning.
