Diplomats Lead Midway Through Hershey Cup

HERSHEY, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall is leading the Hershey Cup midway through the two-day tournament at the Hershey Country Club East. F&M finished round one with a team score of 301 followed by Washington & Jefferson (305) and McDaniel (306). 

Three Diplomats are in the top ten with Daniel Furman and Robert Svigals both tied for fourth. The pair is in a four-way tie with a three-over 74 on the par-71, 7,061 yard course. Three players are currently tied for first with 73s.

Brad Lankler carded 75 and is tied for eighth in the field of 81 golfers.  Dave Gilbert and Jon Meissner both shot a 78 and are tied for 19th while Jin Hwang, competing as an individual, shot an 81 and is tied for 45th

Play resumes tomorrow with the final 18 holes scheduled to start at 8:00 am.
