Lankler and Diplomats Win PSU-Harrisburg Invite

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Brad Lankler and Daniel Furman took the first two spots to lead Franklin & Marshall to the team title at the Penn State Harrisburg Invitational. The Diplomats finished the two day event with a team score of 599, 14 strokes better than York (613). PSU-Harrisburg took third with 615 at the Dauphin Highlands Golf Course. 

Lankler turned in a 146 with 72 in the first round and a 74 in round two on the par-72, 6,800-yard course. Furman was a stroke behind, shooting 73 the first day and finishing with a 74 for total of 147. 

Henry Richards and Robert Svigals both carded 154 and tied for sixth. Richards shot 76-78, while Svigals turned in a 75-79. Christopher Gabriele finished out the Diplomats five with a 155 (74-81). 

F&M continues the fall portion of its schedule on Oct. 4 at the two-day McDaniel Invitational.
