Diplomats Tied for Second Midway Through McDaniel Invite

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall men's golf team is tied for second midway through the McDaniel Spring Invitational held at the Bridges Golf Club on Saturday. The Diplomats shot 321 and tied Dickinson while St. John Fisher holds down the top spot at 315 in the 18-team event.

Daniel Furman and Christopher Gabriele both shot 79 to lead the Diplomats and tied for seventh in the 90-player field. Corey Haas shot a three-over 75 and sits on top of the leader board.

Robert Svigals turned in an 80 on the par-72, 6,713-yard course and Stephen Colodny figured into the team score with an 83 while Brad Lankler carded an 85 to round out the Diplomats five.

F&M will complete the two-day event tomorrow with an 11 a.m. shot gun start.
