WILMINGTON, Del. – Franklin & Marshall remains on top of the leader board with 36 of 54 holes completed at the 2015 Centennial Conference (CC) Men's Golf Championship hosted at the DuPont Country Club. F&M increased its lead to 25 strokes over McDaniel (620) while Swarthmore moved up to third in the team standings at 628.
Robert Svigals shaved seven strokes off his round one total and jumped into first place with a 145 (76-69) to lead the Diplomats. Christopher Gabriele improved three strokes with a 72 and sits in second in the 35-player field. Brad Lankler shot 73, seven strokes better than yesterday's score and is tied for fifth.
Daniel Furman improved by two strokes with a 76 on the par-71, 6,763-yard course while Stephen Colodny came in at an 83 and dropped to 15th after leading the tournament yesterday.
The final round is set for tomorrow, where F&M will look to hold on for its seventh CC Crown, including its sixth in the previous eight years. The winner of the tournament also earns an automatic qualifier for the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament.
