Diplomats Win Ted Keller Memorial

ASHLAND, Va. – Franklin & Marshall placed three golfers in the top 10 to take the overall team victory on Tuesday at the Ted Keller Memorial Tournament. The Diplomats fired a 304 on day two at Ashland's Hanover Country Club to finish with an overall score of 601, 15 shots ahead of second-place Bridgewater College.

Stephen Colodny led the F&M charge, firing a 77 on the day to finish in second place with an eight-over total of 148. He was closely followed by Justin Lankler, who claimed the lowest round of the day by shooting 72, and finished in a tie for fourth place at 150.

Brad Lankler, the 2015 Ted Keller Memorial Champion, also reached the top 10, shooting a steady 76-76 to finish tied for 10th at 152. Kevin McGloin finished just one shot behind Lankler, totaling a 153 after firing an 81 on day two en route to a tie for 14th. Jon Meissner rounded out the Diplomat victory by finishing tied for 41st with a total of 161.

F&M has either won or finished as runners-up at the last three Ted Keller Memorial Tournaments, taking first place in 2014 and second in 2015.

The Diplomats return to the course on Monday, hosting the F&M Invitational at Bent Creek Country Club for the team's final competition of the fall.
