Diplomats Compete at McDaniel Spring Invite

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall finished with a two-day total of 626 (321-305) and placed sixth at the McDaniel Spring Invitational hosted at the Bridges Golf Course. Gettysburg won the team title with a 598 followed by St. John Fisher (610) and Washington & Jefferson (614).

Brad Lankler led the way for F&M with a 12th place finish after recording rounds of 78 and 75 for a total of 153. Gettysburg's Dane Sethre-Hofstad won medalist honors with a 144. Stephen Colodny shaved three strokes off his Saturday round of 79 with a 76 on Sunday to place 16th with a score of 155.

Jon Granville took 20th out of 63 golfers with a 157 while Daniel Furman shot 161 on the par-72, 6,713 yard course and tied for 33rd. Benjamin Mitchell shot an 82 and 84 for a 166 to round out the F&M team.

F&M returns to action on Sunday at the two-day Hershey Cup at the Hershey Country Club.
