Diplomats 10th after Round One of the NCAA Championships

ROCHCHESTER, N.Y. -- Franklin & Marshall shot 302 and sits in 10th at the 2016 NCAA Men's Golf Championship. The Diplomats played the par-71, 6,645-yard Medon Golf Club Course on Tuesday. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps currently leads the team field of 41 with a 286. 

Brad Lankler and Stephen Colodny led the way for F&M with a two-over 72. Lankler shot a 36 with three birdies to start out his round and finished with a 37 to tie for 18th in the 210-player field. Colodny shot 39 with a birdie to start off and finished up with a 34, recording two birdies to end his day.

Daniel Furman fired a six-over 77 and is tied for 69th. Furman started off slow at 43, before he picked three birdies for a one-under 34 on his final nine holes. Claremont M.S.'s Kethan Reddy sits atop the leaderboard with a 68.

Jon Granville finished at 79 while Jon Meissner came in at 80. 

F&M returns to action tomorrow on the par-72, 6,632-yard Midvale Country Club Course.
