HERSHEY, Pa. – Brad Lankler tied for second to lead Franklin & Marshall at the two-day Hershey Cup held on Sunday and Monday. The Diplomats placed third out of 15 teams with a 615 (314-301), while Allegheny College took the team title at 602 (300-302).
Lankler fired rounds of 73 and 74, including five birdies, and tied for second at 147. Gettysburg's Danny Harcourt took medalist honors at 146.
Stephen Colodny shot a 77 on both days to finish at 154 on the par-71, 6,72- yard course. Justin Lankler turned in rounds of 82 and 75 to place 32nd at 157 and Ben Mitchell also carded a 157 (82-75) for 32nd out of 87 players. Seiichiro Nakai had an 84 and 81 and ended with a two-day total of 165.
F&M returns to action on Apr. 14 at the two-day Fred Kravetz Invitational hosted by University of Rochester at the Irondequoit Country Club.
