CC Tournament History
Franklin & Marshall (26-13, 12-6 CC) heads into its 12th Centennial Conference Tournament and second straight, as the Diplomats are in search of their fifth CC Crown. The Diplomats last won the Tournament in 2013 with a 16-1 bashing of Hopkins in the Championship game.
A Look at the Field
Johns Hopkins (No. 1 Seed - 27-11, 13-5 CC)
Series Record: 1-1 in 2019 | JHU leads 63-35-1 overall
The Blue Jays enter the week as winners of seven out of their last 10 contests and are hosting the Tournament for the first time since 2017. Hopkins is 17-3 at its home field and is in search of the program's 11th CC Title and first since 2017.
Franklin & Marshall (No. 2 Seed - 26-13, 12-6 CC)
F&M holds a 3-3 record against teams in the Tournament but enters the Playoffs as the CC's hottest team with wins in eight out of the Diplomats' previous 10 games. Although F&M is eighth among CC teams with a .289 batting average, the Diplomats lead all programs in ERA at 3.86.
Haverford (No. 3 Seed -18-18, 11-7 CC)
Series Record: F&M 2-0 in 2019 | F&M leads 54-38-2 overall
The Fords are in search of their fourth Tournament Championship and first since 2016. Haverford earned a bid thanks to its pitching staff, which holds the second-best ERA in the Conference behind F&M at 4.07. However, the Fords have struggled at the plate with the lowest batting average in the CC at .261.
Muhlenberg (No. 4 Seed - 20-17, 10-8 CC)
Series Record: Muhlenberg 2-0 in 2019 | F&M leads 72-54 overall
The Mules are the lone team in this year's field never to win a CC Championship and are in the Tournament for the second straight year. Muhlenberg sits near the middle of the CC in both batting average (.298) and ERA (5.52), placing fifth and sixth, respectively.

Milestones to Watch
Dan Marano has notched 173 hits in his career, a mark that places second all-time in program history. David Iacobucci '17 leads the way with 181.
With 33 career doubles, Marano places sixth. Scott Haft '05 tops the category with 45. His eight home runs are suitable for seventh among career leaders with Haft pacing the field with 14.
J.J. Freeman has scored 49 runs on the year, good for third on the single-season record list. Matt Will is first with 52 in 2009.
Kelsey Launi has collected 56 hits in 2019 and is closing in on the program's single-season record of 64, held by Gary Kruger in 2006. His 40 RBI's entering the week place sixth. Andy Myers holds the record at 49, which was set in 2002.
Danny Blugis has registered 12 career saves, which places second all-time. Andrew Mascis '18 leads the way with 16.
Starting pitchers Jonathan Cole and Jack Buckley made their way onto the career strikeouts list and now place sixth and seventh with 152 and 148, respectively.
Racking up the K's
The Diplomats head into the week with 304 strikeouts as a team, a mark which has already reset the program's single-season record. The 2018 team previously held the record with 295. Buckley's 70 K's on the year rank sixth while Cole's 68 place eighth all-time as Tom Sheridan leads the way with 91 during the 1995 season.
Cole's Historical Performance
In a 3-1 win over Haverford on April 20th, starting pitcher, Jonathan Cole struck out 14 batters - the highest-known total in the program's single-game history. It marked the most K's by a Diplomat pitcher since Ted Serro fanned 12 Endicott batters back in 2006.
Blugis Breaks Caught Stealing Record
After tossing out a pair of runners against Shenandoah on March 28th, catcher Danny Blugis set the program's all-time runners caught stealing mark and currently has 30 in his career. Pat Andrews '14 held the previous mark with 29.
Marano Breaks Career RBIs Mark
With a sixth-inning single against Messiah at home on April 3rd, senior first baseman Dan Marano broke the program's career RBIs record with 109. Jason Anderson '10 previously held the top spot with 108.
Marano Named Top Male Senior Athlete
Dan Marano was presented with the highest honor given to a Franklin & Marshall senior male athlete at the annual awards luncheon on April 29th. Marano was honored with the Garrigues Outstanding Senior Athlete Award, which is given to the male senior athlete that displayed cumulative outstanding athletic and academic achievements over a four-year period.

Horning Becomes Winningest Coach
With a doubleheader sweep of No. 9 Swarthmore on April 13th, sixth-year head coach Ryan Horning became F&M baseball's all-time winningest coach. Brett Boretti, who was at the helm of the program from 2001-05, previously led the way with a 116-82 record during his tenure.
Horning also reached the 100-win plateau this season after sweeping Hampden-Sydney on Feb. 24.
