WAYNESBORO, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team carded an overall score of 300 in the second round of the Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic to take home fourth place out of 19 teams competing at Waynesboro Country Club. Dickinson claimed first place in the tournament with a team score of 593 - outlasting York (594) and Roanoke (595) on the leaderboard.
Roy Anderson and
Shane Lawler led the Diplomats in the tournament as each golfer carded a 72 on day two to finish one-over par – tying each other for ninth in the field of 95 competitors. Lawler had six birdies and eight pars, while Anderson tallied four birdies and 11 pars in the final round.
Max Silverman totaled 12 birdies on Sunday to finish tied for 37th in the tournament.
Dominic Sculti used three birdies to help him record a 78 on the day to place tied for 43rd.
Will Livingston rounded out the Diplomats in the field as the junior carded a 79 to end the weekend tied for 60th.
Franklin & Marshall heads to Carlisle Barracks Golf Club on Saturday to compete in the Dickinson College Invitational, starting at 11:00 a.m.
