CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 17 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team was defeated by No. 16 MIT, 6-3, Sunday morning in the third-place match of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships.
Petr Nohel picked up a big 3-0 sweep out of the No. 1 slot to earn his 10th win of the season and second victory in the tournament. Flavio Hinostroza outlasted his opponent as they went to a fifth game in their match in the No. 6 slot. Tied 2-all, Hinostroza outscored his foe 11-9 in the fifth frame for his fifth win of the 2022-23 campaign. Noah Katzer won his match, 3-1, out of the No. 7 slot for his eighth victory of the season. Katzer followed up a loss in the first game by winning three-straight to overcome his opponent.
