HERSHEY, Pa. – Two Diplomats finished top 10 in the field, leading the Franklin & Marshall men's golf team to a tie of second place out of 15 teams competing on the first day of the Hershey Cup Sunday morning. F&M posted a team score of 308 to end the day tied for second place with York (Pa.). Rensselaer Polytechnic currently leads the team standings with a score of 307.
Dylan Gallagher posted a 73 after day one to finish second out of the field of 81 competitors in the individual standings. Jas Fuhrer closely followed with a score of 75 to end the day tied for sixth. Jack Cooley and Shane Lawler both shot an 80 to place tied with each other for 29th. Roy Anderson rounded out the Diplomats with a score of 85 to tie for 60th in the field.
Franklin & Marshall wraps up the Hershey Cup at the Hershey Country Club on Monday.
