KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the second-consecutive year, Koa Kaliebe of the Franklin & Marshall men's soccer team was recognized as a Scholar All-American for the 2024 season by United Soccer Coaches (USC). Kaliebe was not only tabbed a Scholar All-American, but the Cary, North Carolina native was once again named a first-team selection for the second year in a row.

To be eligible for Scholar All-America status, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.40 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) throughout their career, play a minimum of 75 percent games during the season of nomination, and be an elite player as supported by playing honors. Kaliebe maintained a 3.97 GPA as a joint studies major pursuing a career in business.

Earlier this fall, Kaliebe had been named a First Team All-American, First Team All-Region V and First Team All-Centennial Conference honoree. The midfielder also was named a College Sports Communicators Academic All-American. Kaliebe appeared in 20 games with 19 starts, while claiming a team-high 18 points, eight goals and 60 total shots this fall. Kaliebe also earned two assists and 27 shots on target during his impressive senior season.

Kaliebe was brilliant in the month of October as he scored two goals, including the game-winner in the Diplomats' 3-1 win over McDaniel. Kaliebe followed up that performance by scoring in each of his next two games to be named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week during that stretch.

Kaliebe concludes his F&M career tied for fourth in the program record books with 19 assists in four years. The midfielder is also tied for sixth in games played as he appeared in 80 matches during his time at Franklin & Marshall.
