LEBANON, Pa. - In its first event of the Spring season, the Franklin & Marshall Women's Golf team competed at the Lebanon Valley Invitational. Facing 13 other schools, the Diplomats finished in third place with a team score of 392 and par of +104.
Janire Vela was the top finisher for F&M, recording an eighth place finish with a score of 88, good for a par of +16. Just behind her was
Reilly Melvin, who came in 14th place with a score of 91.Â
In her first round since last Spring,
Chloe Schnur tallied a score of 106, which was one stroke ahead of
Lauren Simpson's score of 107. The duo finished 38th and 39th, respectively,

Claire Hill's first round of the 2023-24 academic year, shooting 112 for a 47th place finish.Â
The Diplomats will next participate in the McDaniel Spring Invitational from March 23-24 at The Bridges Golf Club.Â
