WAYNESBORO, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall women's golf team opened the 2026 Centennial Conference Women's Golf Championship on Saturday from the Waynesboro Country Club. A weather-delayed start left the Diplomats' rounds incomplete due to darkness, with the final group through 14 holes.
Sarah Wang leads F&M individually in a tie for fourth place in the individual standings, while the team ranks third.
Through 14 holes,
Sarah Wang has totaled 64 strokes (+7) in a tie for fourth, while
Riya Sood is tied for ninth through 16 holes with 79 strokes (+14).
Emily Pollard ranks fifth through 15 holes, with an 82 (+21).
Allie Tarreto is in 18th place with 79 strokes (+22) at the completion of 14 holes, while
Sarah DesChamps posted a 100 (+32) with one hole left to play in the opening round.
F&M is one of three teams with holes left to play in the first round on Sunday morning, but F&M is currently third place with a team score of 304 (+64). Gettysburg leads Marymount by one stroke with a score of 282 (+35), while the Diplomats will look to stay ahead of fourth-place Dickinson who totaled 367 strokes (+79) after being able to complete their round.
Round one will resume tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. while round two will open with tee times beginning at 9:30 a.m.
