Sarah Wang Claims Second, Team Finishes Third at Dickinson Invite

CARLISLE, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall women's golf team wrapped up Centennial Conference Championship preparations with a third-place finish in Saturday's Dickinson College Invite from the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course. Sarah Wang led the way individually, carding a 74 (+2) to claim second place.

Wang marked her seventh-consecutive top-three finish, carding a 74 (+2) for second place. It is also her second-best single-round score of the 2025-26 season behind her 73 (+1) at the Dickinson Fall Invite from the same course. Allie Tarreto tied for 11th with an 87 (+15), while Riya Sood was tied for 17th by carding 91 (+19). Emilly Pollard completed the team score with 97 strokes (+25) to earn 26th individually. Sarah DesChamps claimed 28 with a 100 (+28) and Olivia Muller was 35th with 128 strokes (+56).

The tournament featured six of the sides that will feature at next week's Centennial Conference Women's Golf Championship. F&M claimed third place in the team score with a 349 (+61) behind second place Gettysburg with a 337 (+49) and first place Marymount who totaled 316 strokes (+28). Hosts Dickinson followed F&M with a 356 (+68) for fourth place.

The Diplomats are back in action for the two-round 2026 Centennial Conference Women's Golf Championship from the Waynesboro Country Club on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26. Gettysburg enters the weekend as defending tournament champions. F&M was third while Sarah Wang claimed the tournament's Rookie of the Year honors following a tie for ninth at last season's tournament.
