STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team matched it first-round score of 291 on Saturday to end the Pennsylvania Classic 10-over par and win its first team title of the spring season. Roy Anderson delivered the team's lowest round score of the season with a 67 to end the day tied for first. However, Anderson was edged for the individual title due to a higher score on the tournament's handicap hole.

Shane Lawler matched his first-round score of 72 to end the weekend one-over par and place tied for fourth in the field of 103 competitors. Max Silverman shot a 76 in the second round to conclude the day four-over par for the tournament to finish in ninth. Dominic Sculti wrapped up the Pennsylvania Classic carding an eight-over par to place tied for 15th. David McNamara rounded out the Diplomats with a final score of nine-over par to finish the day tied for 19th.

The team-victory is F&M's fourth of the 2023-24 season and it will look to build on its momentum when it competes in the Hershey Cup on Sunday, April 7 at 8:00 a.m.
