WASHINGTON, N.J. – After one round at the Garden State Collegiate Classic, the Franklin & Marshall men's golf team sits in a tie for third place out of 10 teams competing in the event. F&M as a team tallied a score of 318 to hold a tie with Moravian. McDaniel leads the field with an overall score of 312 after 18 holes.
Max Silverman carded a 76 to lead the Diplomats after one round as he currently holds a tie for second place in the field of 54 competitors.
Roy Anderson and
Jack Cooley both shot an 80 during the opening round to share a tie for 15th on the individual leaderboard.
Shane Lawler ended the day with an 82 to place tied for 25th.
Dominic Sculti rounded out F&M as he carded an 86 to conclude the round tied for 37th.
Franklin & Marshall looks to make a push in the closing round of the Garden State Collegiate Classic on Sunday, starting at 8:00 a.m.
