GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team shot three-over par in the second round of the Gettysburg Spring Shootout to end the tournament in second place with a two-day score of 17-over par. Gettysburg's "A" team claimed the team title as it shot six-over par for the weekend - finishing with the lowest score of the 12 teams competing.
Shane Lawler led F&M with a 70 on day two to end the tournament in fourth place with a total score of 145.
Roy Anderson and
Max Silverman both concluded the weekend with a total score of 149 to tie for 11th in the field of 63 competitors.
Jack Cooley shot a 75 on back-to-back days to share a tie for 16th place.
Dominic Sculti also tallied a 75 on day two to end Sunday's round tied for 35th.
The three-time defending Centennial Conference (CC) Champion Franklin & Marshall now turns its attention to defending its title at the CC Championship, a three-round tournament held at Waynesboro Country Club, starting on Friday at 8:00 a.m.
