Men's Golf Tied for Third After Day One of Gettysburg Spring Shootout

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – At the conclusion of the opening round of the Gettysburg Spring Shootout, the Franklin & Marshall men's golf team sits in a tie for third place with a team score of 14-over par. Gettysburg's "A" team carded eight-over par to lead the field of 12 teams.

Three Diplomats ended the day with a final tally of three-over par as Roy Anderson, Jack Cooley, and Shane Lawler all hold a tie for ninth in the field of 63. Max Silverman ended the round five-over par to currently sit in a tie for 18th place. Rounding out the Diplomats was Dominic Sculti as he shot 10-over par to end the opening round in a tie for 45th.

Franklin & Marshall looks to make a strong push in the closing round of the Gettysburg Spring Shootout on Sunday, starting at 8:00 a.m.
