WAYNESBORO, Pa. - In its final competition before the Centennial Conference Championships, the Franklin & Marshall Women's Golf team came in second place at the McDaniel Invite with a team score of 376. 

Janire Egana Vela was the Diplomats' leading golfer with a score of 86, which was tied for fourth place in the individual standings. Three spots behind her was Reilly Melvin, who was tied for seventh place with a score of 93.

Chloe Schnur shot a 95 and finished in ninth place, just behind Melvin. Claire Hill and Lauren Simpson finished within one stroke of each other with scores of 102 and 103, respectively. 

The Diplomats will now venture to the Waynesboro Country Club for the Centennial Conference Championship, held from April 27-28.
